Carl earned his BA in Psychology from Bucknell University and his Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Towson University. Moving to Ohio in 1977, Carl has worked in the behavioral health field for forty years. He has experience in Mental Health and Chemical Dependency in rural and urban settings. He is a certified Supervisor as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and as a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor. He has held positions in agencies with both clinical and administrative duties.
Carl has seen clients of all ages, races, socio-economic standing, genders, sexual orientation, etc. with a variety of behavioral health problems. He has specialized in the treatment of adults suffering from co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, depression, trauma, Bipolar Disorder, anxiety, severe mental disorders, and is experienced in a full gamut of other psychological and substance abuse issues.
Carl was trained in Client Centered, Reality, and Rational Emotive therapies, and the basis of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. He also has received training in Gestalt Therapy, Neuro Behavioral Conditioning, and Trauma Informed Therapy. He is interested in seeing clients aged 17 and older.
